We have humble beginnings.
We are now but five kids who love to bike. We are a gang. We roam the streets of Corvallis and leave notes, reviewing restaurants we encounter. We wear bandannas and red lipstick.
Today we had an adventure in cooking. We created a Blackberry-Lime Ice-Drink. We cheated a little. We had the hardest time getting that ice to crush. We tried blending it, but to no avail, maybe we have a lame blender, but it just wouldn't work. So then we thought maybe digging out the snow-cone-maker would help. We snow-coned the ice, and then put it back into the blender. Maybe we have a lame blender, but it still wouldn't work. We added blackberries (they're in season now!) and sqeezed our limes. The blackberry-lime ice concoction was transferred to the Cuisinart and all was made well by the machine's awesome power. We pored a bit of ganache on top and it was fantastic. There is a gigantic mess in the kitchen and we have yet to clean it up.
